Sexually Transmitted Diseases

STD testing is important whether or not you are pregnant.  Many sexually transmitted infections may have no obvious symptoms, but can be passed on to your partner.  If you are pregnant, doctors need to know about any STDs you have so that they can take precautions to prevent transmission to your unborn child.  The health center offers STD screenings; you can also get them from a private ob/gyn.
